
This is a recipe we got from auntie Delilah. Christy has meanwhile perfected its preparation.
Dressing
- 1/2 cup of Mayonnaise
- 5 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Salad
- 2 cups rice
- 2 chicken breasts
- lettuce
- mandarin slides
- roasted almonds
- dry Chinese noodles (e.g. from an instant noodle pack)
Dressing
- whisk mayo, oil, soy sauce and vinegar into a dressing
- add sugar
- add garlic powder
Salad
- boil rice
- crush tasted almonds
- dice chicken and pan fry
- rinse and cut lettuce
- add warm rice on top of the lettuce
- top the rice with a few dices of the pan fired chicken
- decorate with mandarin slices
- finish off with crushed almonds and dry Chinese noodles
- spoon some of the dressing over the salad
